New Delhi, 22nd June, 2019: Hemophilia Federation (India) (HFI), organized Initiative on Hemophilia Care - V in New Delhi with great zeal and enthusiasm. Simultaneously this programme also marked World Hemophilia Day which is held every year on 17th April World over in 140 countries.

HFI in association with Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Government of India has been conducting the programme regularly and this time it was 5th in the series of programmes held earlier. The programme “Initiative on Hemophilia Care V- A sensitization programme and the way forward, IHC-V” was held at Residency Resorts Pvt. Ltd. United Services Institute of India, Rao Tula Ram Marg, Shankar Vihar, Opposite Signals Enclave, New Delhi – 110010 amid a gathering of 200 participants with support of Takeda, Pfizer, Roche and Novo Nordisk India Pvt. Ltd., all are leading pharmaceutical companies.

 

 Dr. Sanjay Kant Prasad (Deputy Chief Commissioner, Ministry of Social Justice & Empowerment) was the Chief Guest and Mrs. Vinita Srivastava (National Co-ordinator, Blood Cell, NHM, Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Government of India) graced the occasion as Hon'ble Guest and Ms. Sara Motka (Programme Manager, Novo Nordisk Haemophilia Foundation) was present as a Special Guest.
