Hemophilia Federation (India) - INITIATIVE ON HEMOPHILIA CARE III

Hemophilia is a Complex Disorder which can not be cured, but its life threatening situations can be prevented with medicine (AHF) support.

HFI does continuous advocacy and representation for Persons with Hemophilia (PwH) to improve their access to treatment and medical care.

HFI is the only National Hemophilia Federation providing education support to Children with Hemophilia (CwH).

HFI provides subsidized / free treatment support (AHF), educate and provide proper information on Hemophilia Care to both Persons with Hemophilia (PwH), their families and the medical fraternity.

HFI does awareness campaigns to make treatment available free at various state hospitals across the country.

INITIATIVE ON HEMOPHILIACARE III

New Delhi, 17 April, 2017: On the occasion of World Hemophilia Day i.e. 17th April 2017, Hemophilia Federation (India) under the patronage of Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Government of India, conducted the 3rd initiative in the series of joint seminar, “Initiative on Hemophilia Care III - A Sensitization Programme and the Way Forward, IHC-III” at India Habitat Centre amid a huge gathering of 200 participants with support of Baxalta Biosciences India Pvt. Ltd. and Novo Nordisk India Pvt. Ltd.,both are leading pharmaceutical companies. The event was focused towards sensitization on Hemophilia for the policy makers both at national and state level. Ministry invited all the State Health Secretaries and the Mission Directors in addition to prominent doctors, haematologists, physiotherapists and hemophilia caregivers from various Govt. Medical Colleges & Hospitals of the country.
