Hemophilia is serious bleeding disorder but ironically is lessen known. This is because the disease manifests in a way which are similar to other diseases and as such difficult to do symptomatic diagnosis. In order to educate the community about the seriousness of this disorder and its heredity, its advocacy drive is needed in a big way. To carry this advocacy drive we need to conduct many more camps, CMEs, youth camps, women group meet etc.

  • It is also of paramount importance that we reach the policy makers of the country through their influence make more and more people aware of hemophilia.
  • As part of advocacy programmes we involve state and local government bodies and municipal corporations in hemophilia care e. i. free factor concentrate and diagnostic facilities in the State.
